In the table below the annual production figures are mentioned since 1970. Since that year these figures have been published by Rolls-Royce Motors or by their parent concern (Vickers plc). They include the limited-production Phantom VI limousine.
I often receive questions how the production numbers are devided to:
- Rolls-Royce and Bentley
- A model a year
- RHD and LHD.
I am not familiar with these splits. Only about 1972 is known that 2068 4-door saloons are produced, 358 Corniches and 47 Phantom VI limousines. Do you know any more details about these figures please contact me by e-mail.
Further data:
- The year the production of the Silver Shadow models peaked, was 1978.
- I do not know how many Silver Spirits are part of the production figures of 1980.
- I mention the years 1981 and on because the Corniche still was produced in those years.
- The sales in the USA strongly increased in the seventies and strongly decreased in the early eighties.
- In 1983 only 19 Camargues were produced, in 1984 only 22.
