Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow

This Rolls-Royce was used in a bangerrace on August 27th 2005 in Staphorst (The Netherlands). In July and August 2005 the car was prepared. The engine was replaced by a 2.8 V6 of a Ford Granada with manual gearbox. The steering column was from a Rover P5, the pedals were from a Ford Granada and a Rover P5. De radiator was replaced by big watercontainers that take care for the cooling of the engine; this is suitable for a race of about 10 to 15 minutes. The front axle is from a Ford Granada, the rear axle from a Jaguar XJ V12 (for a better connection to the engine).

27th of August 2005. After the race the car had a small damage in the front.














But it had to be done... ("volgend jaar weer?!" = "next year again?!")
