The first owner ordered his car on April 30, 1975. The car was delivered on January 20, 1977 (!), as is written on the warranty and in the Service booklet.
The first owner kept the car for about 3 years, and drove it about 25000 miles. He lived in California.
The second had it for about 2 years and drove it about 3000 miles. He too lived in California.
The third owner kept it for 16 years and drove it about 8000 miles. He was not a daily driver. The car stayed in California.
The fourth kept it for 3 years and drove it about 4000 miles. He lived in Nevada.
The fifth kept it for 3 years and drove if about 5000 miles. The car was back in California again.
The owner who sent me these pictures and details (November 2008), is the sixth owner. He bought the car at 47,811 miles, on December 5, 2007. He transported it to New Hampshire. "It was quite a shock to the car", he wrote me, "as it was 0 Fahrenheit when it arrived here in its enclosed carrier .... certainly colder than the car had ever been! We had it winterized before it left sunny, warm California."
