Rolls-Royce Corniche 2d saloon

1973, CRB15672, Willow Gold

The complete colourscheme of this Corniche Fixed Head Coupé is Willow Gold with Dark brown fine lines, Dark brown everflex, Dark brown carpets and Dark brown hide. The headlining is beige.
This Corniche 2-door saloon was delivered to Palm Beach, Florida, in 1973. It´s one of the last USA delivered Corniches with chrome bumpers before these models got the energy absorbing bumpers (the first Corniche 2-door saloon being the CRB15940). In 2008 it came to Europe in a very original condition and was shipped to the Netherlands. It was bought by a German who got it resprayed in the original colour Willow Gold. Today (January 2011) it is located in Hamburg. The Corniche still looks like in 1973, except for the tyres and the mirrors: the Dunlops are replaced by Avons 235/70 and it has got an adjustable mirror on the right side.
