Rolls-Royce Camargue

1977, JRE25330, Gold over black

The first owner of this Camargue was Carol Burnett. Carol Creighton Burnett (born April 26, 1933) is an American actress, comedian, singer, dancer and writer. She ordered the car finished in Tudor red with Tan interior but she changed the exterior color to Walnut sometime in her ownership. She sold the car in 1984 to Mr Marshiano from California who owned the car until 2002. The third owner lived in California too; the current two tone Gold over Black exterior paint scheme was his work. The interior colour has kept its original colour. In 2007 the Camargue was bought by the present owner from South Carolina. In August 2009 the car had only driven 28,500 documented miles.
This Camargue was delivered in 1977 but was ordered in 1976 and was from model year 1976. That was the first year this model was sold in the US. With the launch of the Camargue in the US in 1976, Rolls-Royce celebrated the 70th year that Rolls-Royce was sold in the US. This car is the 29th US Camargue.
